Spring Equinox Equals Wellness

Happy Spring Equinox!!! Waxing Crescent Moon in Gemini, Saturday, March 20, 2021.

The shoulders, arms, hands, bronchial and lungs are the body parts associated with the zodiac sign Gemini. These body parts should be given gentleness and extra care when the moon is in Gemini. Practicing daily Yoga, Qigong and or Tai Chi practices can help in maintaining wellness and preventative care. Also with physical movement, a meditative spiritual practice of energy healing meditation along with visualization can help the mind body healthy connection. Try a healing practice that is Reiki or another self-healing natural meditation.

Now that we’re in Spring season, practicing a movement technique that focuses on certain parts of the body related to Springtime, can release body tightness, emotional stress and emotional pain that can lead to physical pain or discomfort.

You can join me on Saturday, March 27th 2021 for an outdoor Yoga- Qigong inspired standing practice and a Walking Meditation.

Spring is a time for regeneration, new beginnings, new life, and renewal of the spirit!

The five elements refer to wood, fire, earth, metal and water in Eastern philosophy. I have created a Qigong practice that explains, guides and combines the ancient teachings of Yoga and Qigong as both beautiful and beneficial. This practice puts our mind - body connection in harmony with our spirit.

Yoga and Ayurveda teaches us to be fully present and engaged as the seasons shift which welcomes us if we are aware and allow ourselves to be open to new opportunities.

Being in-tune to the natural rhythm of the Earth with our mindfulness, breathing, and what we eat, helps us to transform and maintain stability throughout all the seasonal changes within the year.

Because of the similarity, Yoga and Qigong practiced together provides a beneficial, thoughtful and stable spring practice.
